Sunrise Engagement Session in Beautiful Port Hope Ontario

Sunrise sessions aren’t very popular, why you ask? Because who the heck wants to be photographed at 6 in the morning!? Thanks to these troopers we had a blast for this session at the Lavender fields in Port Hope. When I first asked Brenda if she would be interested in doing a Sunrise portrait session, she laughed at me… and then there was silence. She then realized I was actually thinking of doing it and she jumped on board with the idea!

There is nothing quite like waking up at 4:30 am on a week day to head out for a session in the dark and hope we get to the location in time for sunrise. We did and what beautiful images came from this session. The lavender is a in full bloom usually mid July, and there is more to see then just the lavender fields if you ever want to stop in there! Congratulations on the engagement Brenda and Adam, I look forward to photographing your wedding next year.
