My First Ever World Wide Photo Contest – Shoot & Share

A total of 583,000 images were submitted into the Shoot and Share image contest this year. This was my first year submitting any images, and I entered 50 images on the last day, in the last hour of closing! ? I got them in just in time! I should plan ahead next year! Maybe I’ll organize images throughout the year that I think I might like to enter next year. If any clients would like me not to enter their images let me know! Almost everyone signs a model release and usually I just post an image on my Facebook group and a few on Instagram, but just let me know, I’m easy going.

I got 6 images into the top 30%, 4 images in the top 20% and 2 images in the top 10%. This was my highest ranking image which made it to round 11 which is the top 4.4% of images!

The Photo Contest is a way to bring the community together and share what they love. Photographers from all over the world to share their work, and inspire others. By sharing our best shots, we can congratulate those who are doing an amazing job and encourage others to continue. The Photo Contest is completely free. Photographers can enter up to 50 photos into 25 different categories. The photographer’s name is never displayed during voting so each photo is judged on its own merit.

The Shoot & Share Photo Contest is unique because it’s all about the photos. It’s not about one photographers’s popularity vs. another’s or the ability to rally social media for votes. It’s not about your financial ability to pay for more entries to flood the photo pool. You are the judge along with everyone else who would like to vote.
