Why Book a Boudoir Session

First off you’ll look amazing! Professional hair and makeup, and professional retouching equals some of the best portraits of yourself that you will ever see. I often tell my clients to schedule a night out after getting their portraits done, because they will look and feel amazing!

Women tend to put others first in their lives a lot of the time. Take some time out for yourself and go shopping for yourself! The best part? All of the great pieces you purchase can make other appearances in more intimate settings! It will empower you!

It makes a great gift for your significant other! Or of course for yourself! Imagine the look on their face when you surprise him with a black leather album filled with sensuous pictures of the one he loves! They think you’re beautiful on your worst hair days and in your yoga pants, so show him how smoking hot you are in classy lingerie and professional makeup! It may be a side their never seen! And if you don’t have anyone you’d like to do these portraits for, do them for yourself! Show off your beauty and give yourself an esteem boost with photographs that you can treasure.

Getting treated like a celebrity for a few hours is great therapy for anyone! But wait until you get to see the photographs for the first time. You will be blown away. You will see how gorgeous you really are and it will put a little pep in your step!

Step 1 – Booking in the calendar!

Email me to book your session or to plan a consultation call. Send me a few dates you have open and I’ll check my calendar and the makeup artist to see what works for all of us. Once we have confirmed a date, we can start planning! I’m happy to help you through any questions you might have along the way.

The boudoir session fee is $299+ HST with the entire day lasting approximately 4-5 hours.

The Session Fee includes:
– Professional Make-up & Hair Styling
– 1.5 hours Photography Session
– Option for multiple outfit changes
– Guidance with posing
– Help with outfit choices
– Access to client closet
– Same day proof viewing

Please Note: The session fee does not include any digital files, prints or albums. These can all be purchased separately on the day of the shoot, or prepaid on payment plan if wished.

Step 2 – Bring your outfits!

Bring your outfits and lets create something beautiful together! First off we can start with your favourite outfit, something you feel good in and I will guide you through posing. Next we can switch outfits and I’ll guide your through more poses, changing things up as we go like adding accessories or maybe items you brought with you. The client closet is available to use as well with a variety of items, but as much as I love my items I encourage you to bring your own as well. This can include fall-off-the-shoulder tops, cropped soft sweaters, lacy underthings, simple black and white bras/panties, stockings/thigh highs/soft over-the-knee socks, and subtle jewelry and hair pieces/flowers.

A few things to remember:
– Rock Clothes that are Right for Your Body
– Drink Plenty of Fluids and get a good night rest
– Make sure your hair and nails are clean
– Spend Time Trying On and Testing Outfits

Most of all, remember to have fun and embrace the experience.

Step 3 – Order digitals, prints or products!

After your session, we can review your images on the computer right away and you can choice your favourites the same day!! Yeahoo, how exciting is that?! I am happy to show you the samples in the studio, and walk you through your different options for ordering.

You can order a collection if you’d like which includes digitals and printed products. Collections will save you some money, and is what most clients choose. Second option is using the A La Carte Menu, which allows you to pick and choose the items you wish to purchase.

Once you have picked your images, you are ready to head out and enjoy the day and I’ll start editing away. Images will be completed within two weeks and I will order any products you’d like. Of course I can show you any proofs of album layouts before ordering. The products are created in professional print labs and will be made of the top quality items.  Please allow 4-6 weeks from time of session for albums to arrive. Albums are the longest products to receive so please keep that in mind when booking your session. I’ll let you know when the items are in!

Payment/Prepayments Plans

A payment plan is an agreement with a contract to pay what you owe within an extended timeframe. You should request a payment plan if you believe it will be less stressful for you making one larger payment.

If you believe you will be able to pay for your session all at once, then the session fee of $299 will be invoiced at time of booking. If you would like a payment plan, we can set up payments to come out weekly, bi-weekly or monthly depending what suits you best. Payment plans can be made after the session, after the session fee has been paid. But no products or images will be delivered until payment in complete.

Prepayment plans, allow you to plan ahead for a session in the future and have the balance paid in full by the time your session takes place. Much like the payment plans detailed above, prepayment plans can be paid weekly, bi-weekly or monthly depending on your needs. Clients often prefer Prepayments Plans, as the payments are made before the session takes place. Then products can be ordered right away and get in your hands sooner!

There are many ways to display your new beautiful portraits of your boudoir session and many things to
consider while finding the right art for you. It is important to find what style suits your home best and I can help you choose the best photographs and products for you. It can be bold or calm, abstract or traditional but whatever your choose, it should be something you are in love with seeing everyday.

By taking a photo of your space I can digitally show you different gallery examples before anything is ordered. Let’s work together to create beautiful art work for your home.
